How long have you been playing beach? Competitively for 28 years. Played my first tournament at age 11.
Why is beach volleyball your sport of choice? Beach is such an amazing sport for so many reasons. The most obvious being that you get to play outside, in the sun, at the beach! Who doesn’t love that playing environment. Secondly, I love the challenge of the beach game. You have to be a well rounded and extremely skilled player to excel at beach, unlike the indoor game where with so many players on the courts your flaws can be hidden. Beach exposes all!
Favorite career moment so far in beach volleyball? Qualifying for the Manhattan Beach AVP, and getting to participate in such a legendary venue.
Favorite pro player? Why? Michael Jordan, cause he knew what it took to be the best, and he worked day in and day out to achieve that greatness.
