How long have you been playing beach? About 6 years on and off
Why is beach volleyball your sport of choice? I love the sport of beach volleyball. I originally fell in love with indoor volleyball but love the more relaxed and laid back environment found during beach volleyball. I also like that you have to be good at each individual skill in order to succeed in the beach game. I also like the challenge that comes with the sport and of course being outside in the sunshine.
Favorite career moment so far in beach volleyball? Defeating FIU in our first tournament of the 2016 NCAA beach season. They were ranked 5 and we were ranked 19. We also ended up finishing ranked 10 in the country.
Favorite pro player? Why? Brooke Sweat. She is awesome. She is short and excels at what she does. She is also very tough and has fought through many injuries playing and I admire that. I also think her defense is super impressive and some of the best I’ve ever seen.
What other tours have you played on? None yet.
Next beach volleyball goal you have set for yourself? Qualify for a NVL main draw! 🙂
